Darice Pollard was born in Florida.
As a child, she was greatly influenced by her parents’ inclination toward creative expression. This influence became apparent in grade school, where she was constantly encouraged to pursue art as a career. In her senior year of high school, her attentive art teacher enrolled her in a children’s book illustration contest that ignited her interest in a unique career.
Shortly after, she attended Florida Gulf Coast University as a first-generation college student and was able to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Digital Media Design.
Darice is extremely grateful for the opportunity God has given her to build a career in one of her favorite hobbies- art and design!
Darice is the illustrator of our book, The Moon Was Not Happy. Her website may be found here.
