Silver Award for 10 Ballet Dancers
What an absolute honor this month, during the online ceremonies of the “Benjamin Franklin Book Awards” from the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), that we learned our book “10 Ballet Dancers” has been awarded a SILVER medal in the category of “Interior Design: Children’s and Young-Adult Books.”
So many people make a book “happen,” and we are grateful for every person from our family, staff (much of which is family), authors, illustrators, and those in our resource “tool kit” who we call upon to make the magic happen.
Receiving the BFA has been a dream since we created the “official” company in 2015. We’d say to all of you who are working towards making something great in the arts: please stay with it. Work and focus on getting to your own levels of excellence. While art and books in themselves are reward enough, to have a book honored like this is both humbling and inspiring.

Award, Too! “Don’t Throw Me in the Cholla Patch” Receives Storytelling World Honors
And! Marc Severson’s “Don’t Throw Me in the Cholla Patch” gets an Honor (honorable mention) in the 2020 Storytelling World Honors event. We’re proud of this unique and quirky book (with Francesco Orazzini’s great art) and can’t wait to bring the next book in the series in late 2020 or early 2021.
